As Sunrise Behavioral Therapy's founder and owner, Samantha believes in creating a supportive, fun, and engaging environment where everyone can thrive, including her team! Whether it's helping children with autism develop essential skills, guiding parents through challenging times, or helping RBTs build their skills within the field, she's here to make a difference. Samantha received her bachelors in Psychology from CSU Monterey Bay and her masters in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. She has been given the privilege  servicing children in clinic, home, daycare, schools, and in the community. Outside of sessions, you can find her spending time with her husband and two daughters outdoors!

Chyna has experience providing services across clinic, home, and school settings and has worked with clients ranging from early intervention through 21 years old. She is passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and ensuring every voice is heard in the treatment process. Outside of work, Chyna enjoys working out, traveling, and cooking.

With experience as a special education paraprofessional and over two years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Jera has developed a strong passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the meaningful impact it has on children and their families. She finds great fulfillment in watching her clients grow, build confidence, and achieve new milestones. Jera is currently working toward her goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Outside of her professional role, Heather enjoys traveling with her family, caring for her chickens, and reading. She is excited to continue growing in the field of behavioral therapy. She looks forward to collaborating with families and team members to support each child in meaningful and impactful ways.

Registered Behavior Technician, RBT

The RBTs play a crucial role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients under the supervision of the BCBA. Their work directly contributes to the progress and success of your child, helping them develop essential skills and improve their daily functioning. RBTs are certified under the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and have under-gone extensive trainings prior to working with your child.
